HUAWEI collaborated with Kipchoge's running squad, DSM-Firmenich, to include elite training insights into the HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2 using more precise, real-time analytics.

Workout data is recorded at one-second intervals, allowing for better analysis and faster changes. Running power, which has been enhanced with Kipchoge's team's input, measures actual mechanical output rather than heart rate. When combined with cadence and stride data, it provides a more accurate picture of effort, efficiency, and form.

The device places equal emphasis on how the data is conveyed. Key indicators like pace, effort, and split deviations are displayed in real time, transforming the watch into a pacing partner rather than a passive tracker.

With the HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2, precision remains paramount. To boost signal stability in dense or blocked situations, the watch has a 3D floating antenna system as well as dual-band satellite compatibility across key worldwide networks.

When signals fail, an industry-first AI-assisted XDR positioning system employs motion data to ensure constant tracking. This assures accurate and consistent pace and distance records.
